We are currently recruiting Traffic Management Implementers (TMI) for SE QLD.

Prerequisites:

Traffic Management Implementers:

  • Drivers Licence
  • General Construction Industry White Card
  • Current Traffic Controller Industry Authority - Working with Stop/Slow Bat (Qld) - This is a mandatory requirement for all applicants
  • Traffic Management Implementation Card (Qld) - This is a mandatory requirement for all applicants

Duties

  • Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or events
  • Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
  • Implement and monitor operational traffic guidance schemes
  • Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
  • Complete required paperwork and online forms and tasks as required
  • Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
  • Report on site hazards and near misses
  • Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, or inspectors and auditors
  • Control traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists to protect maintenance workers, work crews and members of the public
